UTS or other uni for businness/comp (1 Viewer)

hai!

I'm going start my studies from year 2007. And for the moment I 'm having a big problem deciding the uni for studies in computer Science and commerce.

Which uni offers the best b. comp science in Australia combined with businness? I would like to go in a reputable uni beacuse i'm planning to seek jobs later in US and other countries.

Whats the difference between Science in IT and comp science?

UTS bus/comp is only 4 years, which is very rare. Other combined courses are 5 years. So UTS would save you a year.

If you want to go overseas then USYD would be much better recognised in terms of others knowing the name. I don't think they would know what UNSW is in the US, even though we know its a good uni.

From what I have heard, in USA, the name of uni is very important for getting a job. UCLA vs Southern California = huge difference.
