I'm an international soon-to-be undergraduate student with an interest in Film and Television, and having recently visited both Swinburne and UTS, I'm sort of in a predicament, and I'd like to get the UTS people's opinions on this.
I've decided that Swinburne's method of education in specialisation (to be a director, screen writer, sound producer, etc) is a more desirable course than UTS's "suite of skills", all-rounder mentality. However, UTS's location and connection to film festivals and the wider media community also draws me in. For this reason, I'm thoroughly muddled, and I need your help to make my decision
UTS students, particularly media and communication students, how do you feel about UTS's location and community? Has it helped you in your studies? How about connection to film festivals?
Thanks in advance.
