they're actually supposed to be starting these summer holidays, it's supposed to be completed by mid 2005 i think. it's going to be a bitch, a lot of noise and pollution and stuff.

The new science block sounds cool, but nothing beats Building 10 :)

No grass??? There already wasn't much!!!

But I think all the new construction (like the new accomodation) shows UTS is moving ahead while other unis *cough*USyd*cough* are stuck in the past.

yeah usyd is out of date.
but people refuse to change and still go there.
shame on those people, didnt pay attention during their english classes..

Change is better than no change at all. Change is inevitable, ppls who choose to goto usyd are refusing to change, hence closing doors to all future opportunities.

hahahah
peace^^

Bah I'm going to uni for a degree, not for basketball. Woohoo to new building I say.

Still, I look like I need all the exercise I can get.

How will this new building affect the cut-off?
Will there be more places and therefore lower cut-offs or no change?
Also, will biotechnology be taught in the city now and if so when?
okies since im in a good mood after eating macca's :p

places depend. creating the new building 4 or renovating it or whatever the heck you wanna call it, doens't necessarily create more uni places, it merely just improves the learning/working environment with more facilities. however, i would be more than certain that creating this building 4/renovating would allow UTS to allocate more places for science.

biotech so far as a course is taught in both the city/st. leonards. once building 4 is complete, everything will be done on the city campus.

as a subject, if im not wrong ( i cant remember from the book) its done in the city as lectures and pracs, i would imagine at st. leonards but ill have to check up on that later.
