the general atmosphere of this uni sucks
its like a boring quiet isolated place
its soo boring
nothiing to do
theres hardly n e 1 on campus
uni sucks
there isnt n e 1 i met that id call out to hang around outside of uni
its just a general boring atmosphere
there isnt one day i wake up and actually look forward to go uni...
when i hear the word uni i get sick of it.
school was fun.. id wake up everyday and cant wait to goto school.
and when school finsihes at home i wished the day was over sooner so i could be back at school the following day..
but for uni.. i do not feel that way.. i wish that today will go on forvever so that i will never haf to goto uni again..
i cant cope
ive studied soo much ..every single day that i have had hardly n e sleep now
and this is ongoing
and i have developed a headache
from thinking too much
and reading too much
i just hate uni life
especially uws uni life
and the atmosphere.. and the boring place
and i just hate everything about uni

I know what u mean dingo!
uni is boring! especially the atmosphere at UWS....doesn't even feel like uni....I just go in for classes then go home!
so yeah...I can relate!
And the people I meet are all older than me and I don't have any friends outside lectures and tutorials....so I'm just gonna keep the friends I have from high school!
I don't know if its just UWS or if this is what its like at all unis...but uni suxs, especially if you're doing a boring course as well!...so I've decided to not do business and do something I actually like and not consider the career aspect of it!

the UWS atmosphere is seriously lacking...people don't tend to hang about for anything...who could blame them..very boring indeed!!

Meh, you're comparing a university that's divided into 6 campuses to major uni's - of course there's going to be more people around and more activities and such at the larger universities. The fact is, we don't get as much funding as other uni's.

I think the fact that people have so many different tutes/lectures is the thing that facilitates this segregation.......:mad1:

It's like that with all universities, though.

I mean, I agree with Eugene, for most of you it's your first year and you're saying it's depressing/boring/hard/whatever else - well, duh? You aren't there to be spoonfed your degree. I don't think anyone I know actually enjoyed their first year of university.

You don't need the university to facilitate your entertainment/amusement - it's not there to facilitate it in the first place. Go make friends and have your own fun.

And wtf ... "i hate uni life, especially uws life"? Mate, you haven't experienced life at any other uni yet - so don't compare them until you do. Really, stop whinging. If you don't like it - bugger off - no one's making you stay there.

hhmmm......
I think the stress is really getting to dingo....
Its true uni's not here to provide fun & entertainment...
just that, uni's not how I imagined it.....
maybe its just first yr syndrome....how do you non-first yr ppl feel about uni??

last year i expected uni to be like this:
partys every week
go out late at night every week
make heaps of friends
hang out at uni..
and just have a realli good life
and i thought the workload wouldnt be dat much
i havnt had a good days sleep for ages.
always panicking every night
often having to do all nighters
the stress level is killing me
my brain cells r dying
i just wanna die..
i sit on comp all da time do do my work
and my back hurts after sitting all day
i lie down on my bed and im scared i might fall asleep so i get back up and i feel like i wanna die..
i have no social life in uni.. my whole entire life now revolves around books and uni..
i dont even have time to go out or pick up chicks..
