I'm going to be tutoring next year as a job. I received a service prize award at my school for service to students in recognition of them academic help toward them.

I achieved an ENTER of 99.75 with the following scores:

English: 44
Physics: 44 ->46
Spec. math: 43 -> 52
Methods: 45 -> 48
Chemistry 47-> 48.8
Biology: 50 ->50

This placed me pretty high, but study scores shouldnt just matter, I feel I am more than adequate at teaching, doing much of it during year 12.

Edit: I'm offering tutoring in everything except English.

I run a tutoring agency in Melbourne. Although I'm not a Maths tutor myself, I have heard some bits and pieces about the new Maths syllabus for 2006.
Essentially, the syllabus will be the same as in 2005 and previously, with the difference being the way it is taught. Students will no longer be able to rely on calculators to assist them with the calculations. In the past you were able to take in your calculator into the exam room. Not any more. As a result, teachers will need to teach students to make calculations manually. I hope this helps.

Yeah, I am aware of those kind of changes. I actually preferred not to use the graphics calculator during my Math exams coming from British A levels previously, so we were taught how to do everything that methods and spec. required but without calculators.
