I tried this volumes questions a few time earlier, yet the answer at the back seems to be different to mine. Well i have attached the diagram and the question is the following: Plz help anyone, thanx!


The truncated cone in the diagram has end radii 6 cm and 12 cm. A horizontal slice, h cm from the base, has a radius of r cm.

1) Show that h = 6r-36

2) Find the volume of the solid

because h = 6r - 36, i'll assume the height was 36 (when r = 12, h = 36)
