I suppose you should use the cylindrical shell method (my 4U maths is quite rusty btw)
 = \\ \\ \frac{x}{2}-\sqrt{x^2-12} \\ \\ $The radius is x since you're rotating from the y-axis and the volume is$ \\ \\ \\ 2\pi\int_{a}^{b}(radius)(height) \ \ dx = \\ \\ 2\pi\int_{3}^{4}x(\frac{x}{2}-\sqrt{x^2-12}) \ \ dx )

did you guys notice that the diagram was wrong? if you based your solution on the sketch given, you would get incorrect answer.

ahhhh crap you're right the hyperbola isn't even defined at x=3
