anyone into these racing games that use the card system?

i've only been playing WMMT.

yeah ive played wmmt once and initial d a few times.
but its an expensive habit to keep up, so ill just be playing battle gear 2 and daytona at wentworth

Yeah it is expensive. I think I've spent approximately $280 on it already. Only reason I keep playing it is cause it's the only real thing I enjoy these days. I'm so bored with everything else in my life but this game makes me content.

and i can only get 2nd place
im determined to get 1st ..one day...one day.

I don't play these games, but I've got a question- What's "gear gacha" and why is it so controversial in WMMT? Is it identical to the main technique used in Outrun 2/Outrun 2 SP?
