Reassurance: Who you are, and what you are, are in no way defined by your UAI, or what some school administrator thinks. If you chose to go to medical school there are ways to get in with the lowest of scores, remember you only need *a* bachelor to do post-grad, you could do a bachelor of arts in 3 years then sit your GAMSAT and get in then. The world is your oyster, chin up and remember that ain't nothing gonna break your stride.

ok i did my hsc last year, all my year advisiors told me id be lucky to get into uni, SAM told me id get 75 uai
right now im sitting at campus east procrastinating about doing my LAW essay because i am doing a LAW degree... chill mate, if ur on those marks you will no worries get 98... trust me

defy the principles prediction. Just keep going strong and believe in yourself. The worse thing to do is get down and depressed about something so innacurate as a principles "estimate" (more likely a guess). Your marks are looking good as well- just come first in your subjects and ace the exams. Keep at it.

predictions are just predictions whether they are from SAM or your principal. Dont take it to heart. See it objectively and dont let it stop you. Your principal's one sounds a bit dodgy though but that actually isnt the point.

Is this UNSW?
If so, then don't worry abour first round! Work your butt off and wait till your UAI comes out. Then, if its >98 and you have a good UMAT score, you'll get an interwiew!
