hey dudes, i was just looking through some stuff on water conservation and i came upon this:
"One of the adaptations that may help a plant to reduce water loss is extra thickening of the cell walss throughout their branches; even though they may lose large amounts of water they do not wilt."
Could someone please explain to me how this helps conserve water? i really don't get it.
