is there any way to stop water retention due to PMS?

i've tried herbal remedies such as magnesium and evening primrose oil, does anyone take anything else to help, or medications even?

i'm sick of not fitting into my clothes for a week every month...

i dont know!!

i'm usually a size 10, but i've gained a few kilos so i'm on the bigger size of a 10, and about 5 days before my period, i cant zip up any of my dresses, unless they're usually too big for me.

sucks :(

i'd go to the dr, but its not really that serious a problem, medically.

That's odd. I honestly can't say I've ever noticed a difference!
It might just be one of those unfortunate facts of life, but if you're not worried too much, I guess ask your doc whenever you next visit.

you could try to just sweat it out? but then you will be dehydrated.... so you will drink it back

see the thing is ... you could consider running thru with the pill.. and then .... technically no PMS :)

hmmm another option... is lose 5 kilos from baseline.. so that if u do gain weight you will be ok...

ive heard somewhere that you should reduce sodium intake and exercise more. u could try that? but i have also heard that magnesium and evening primrose oil should get rid of water retention.

limit your intake of milk, brocolli, watermelon, soft drinks and a few other things i cant remember
and increase intake of water (eliminates salt, which causes water retention/bloating)
oh, and try not to have more than 2 pieces of fruit a day as this causes bloating and generaly anything really high in fibre
