My website will not load pictures when running Zone Alarm or Norton Anti-Virus on your computer. When I disable Zone Alarm, the images load fine. Somebody with Norton told me they had the same problem.

How can I fix this and why is it happening? I haven't had a problem like this before.

Yeah that happens. Norton Internet Security does that right? It also prevent you from posting messages on some forums too. I usually just disable it whenever I have to, not sure if theres a way around it.

Are you running the latest version of Zone Alarm? Did you set up Zone Alarm to allow the program through? Otherwise, try unistalling then re-installing the latest version.

The program it needs to let through is Firefox which is not a problem. I only have the problem with my website.

I've already been told the problem on another forum. Something to do with Zone Alarm and Norton blocking gif files. I can't be bothered looking through the settings so I just went and changed them to PNGs. Alas, did not work, still refuses to load them.

it obviously detects it as a threat. Try fiddling with the firewall's settings; lower the security level. Rest assured no one would be interested in hacking your piece of crap.. Although you have anoyed a few people :p
