Nah, we were at a Christmas dinner and her and her "friend" were really drunk (we all were actually, lol). They started going at it in the living room when everyone was opening their presents. Hehe. Christmas Eve is my dads side of the family too, so they are all backward thinking and scared of anyone who isnt working class, white, diehard Catholic. My grandma doesnt talk to me because I told her I dont believe in God. Needless to say, she didnt appreciate it much. Other people were suprsising in that they made an attempt to pretend they werent disgusted.

Im totally accepting of gays and lesbians, Ive got a lot of gay friends, but I do think it was the wrong moment for her to come out and the wrong family to come out to sadly.

yeah... coming out should prolly done in the right situation and at the right time and to the right people...

Yea, and they probably never will be able to. Thats one thing that really depresses me about my dads side of the family, that they are so intolerant. They totally disowned my gay brother when he came out.

Im not gay, but he thinks i am due to the fact that my best friend is gay.. he doesn't like me hanging out with her and stuff... we've had huge fights over it. terrible. especially cos im close to him.. he can't accept the fact that we're friends..
