New syllabus....6 days before hsc and I have no clue about anything cause my teacher didn't accommodate for some of the new stuff in the syllabus. Can someone explain what this is:

the differences between print and multimedia, including

  • authority of document

Authority of document? :/

Thanks

hi im not sure either. But could it have something to do with someone having more authority over a paper document compared to a multmedia file. With the paper document you have more ownership and is hard for someone to take that authority away from you. where as with a multimedia file your authority can be taken away easily. If you upload something to the internet that file can easily be downloaded and edited.

maybe....

or that in printed media - a book might have more "authority" than a magazine/newspaper article, the cost of printing vs the ease of publishing on the web

or with electronic documents, there may be no editors and publishers checking the data for copyright or data integrity infringements.
