If you enrol in a subject outside of the degree you accepted, will you get kicked out of University? Like, does the University keep track of what subjects you are enrolled in, or do you think you could get away with it:confused:?

well u can enroll into subjects outside ur degree for your electives.

but there are certain subjects that only accepts enrolment from student from certain programs eg law subjects can only be completed by law students. (Check in your handbook for these subjects). They usually wont allow you to enroll into these subjects at the first place - so dont worry you cant get expelled :D :D.

You could do any subject I spose but when it comes time to graduate you won't have completed the requirements of the degree in which you were enrolled.

you need to tell your uni about it
they allow cross-institutional study but must be approved by your course coordinator and only if they;re electives.

PS btw can you see the pic in my signature?

They don't have to be approved by your course coordinator if they are electives:).

Cross institutional study is studying at another university. I think you're referring to inter-faculty study

What I meant was, just say I can do four electives for my degree. What would happen if I enrolled in other subjects (other than my four electives) in different faculties:)?

other subjects? you mean in addition to your degree requirements?
nothing - it'll be on your academic statement, but not counted on your degree, and u'll pay HECS for them
why waste money?

Oh, so nothing would happen. You would do it if you didn't get the degree you wanted. That way you could do the whole first year of the degree you wanted to do and if you get the transfer, you would not have waisted a year doing subjects that would not be counted in the degree you transfer to:D.

the HECS rules state that you can not do MORE credit points than outlined in your degree. if you do so, you will have to pay for those courses as a fee paying student does. but i'm don't think the uni will mind.

Full fee paying student means that you have to pay for a subject up front before you begin, doesn't it:)?
