Defining 'health' and 'disease' is difficult because the terms are so broad. But the way that outteacher defined them is this

Disease: Any condition which impairs normal living processes.
i.e the disturbance of Homeostasis. The chemical and physical environment surrounding the cell must be maintained within narrow limits.

Health: Refers to the overall wellbeing of an organism NOT just the absence of disease. Health of an organism can vary from day to day as a result of the ageing process.

Hope that helps :D
