What is it? What is it to you? What does it mean? Why is it here? What would life be like without it?

I think it's a language. A language of perfect communication... can be simple, can be complicated. Can show any emotion, any thought, any feeling in a picture so profound that it inspires the same emotions in us.

It is a part of us. We walk with rhythm, we talk with rhythm. When any civilisation has formed, any tribe gathered... drums have been built. Out of different materials, with different designs... but drums nonetheless. Isn't that amazing? That something as simple as the drum would have united so many of us for so long!
