What is the difference between a Tutorial and a Workshop?

A tutorial is usually like a HS class - the tutor will usually run through the work quickly and get you to do activities. Workshops can vary greatly depending on the course. Sometimes they involve more direct hands on activities on than a tutorial, whilst others can be used as a staging point for group work (for example, in marketing, we were supposed to use the workshops for weekly group meetings to work on our major assignment).
