What is the difference between aligning and scaling? (1 Viewer)

Aligning occurs when BOS changes your raw external mark into your final external mark. Scaling occurs when UAC applies different weightings to certain subjects in order to calcuate your ATAR. I know that isnt the greatest explanation, but thats a real "in a nut shell" comparison.
