I definitely will be able to get a band 6 in Physics, but want to try and push it into a state rank. Anyone know the estimations of a raw mark would need to get to achieve this?

Im hoping for a 96 raw on the final HSC- would this situate me in the state rank territory??

no one can just 'aim' for a state rank. People put in the work now and reap the unconsciously obtained rewards afterwards. 99.99% of the time, most people who do sr don't even realise they were capable of sring in the first place. This added pressure does amount to anything if one does not work first, which inherently is tedious because you're adding pressure for the sake of a title that does not increase your atar. I suggest that you work for now and maximise your marks, and see it through for sr. I'm sure you're capable but I don't think that 'aiming' for it will realistically give you an upper hand. My 2 cents.

and the fact that the hsc physics exams have so many subjective "analyse rutherford and bs" questions
