not sure if this is in the FAQ yet
but, from memory:
pass conceded = 45/50-55
pass = 55-65
credit = 65-74
dis = 75-84
HD = 85+

As far as I am aware:

F: 0 - 44
CP: 45 - 49
P: 50 - 64
Cr: 65 - 74
D: 75 - 84
HD: 85 - 100

NOTE: This is you SNG (Standardised Numerical Grade) and not your "average" marks. So, if you are getting 75% through your raw marks in assessments, you aren't sitting on a Distinction.

Are the marks you get (ie 74) a percentile or an actual mark?

In my understanding, it is a mark based on your percentile.
