I still think you're confusing HSC mark and UAI.
You don't get a UAI for chem. You get a UAI for ALL your subjects
You get a HSC mark for chem

How long is a piece of string?

It all depends on how well you do in your other subjects + numerous other factors that I won't confuse you with.

I wonder if that's because the raw marks are low or because the band cut-offs are high.
