Can I please have some advice on what school I should try out for entry into year 10? The distance doesn't really matter, and preferably top 50 school. Please note that I currently attend a rank 150 school. Please let me know ASAP. Thanks in advance.

You've got many achievements across everything, I think that's really good and can get you a great result.
Have you done the selective test before in a previous year?
I've done it once in year 6 and year 8 but failed both times. Just two pieces of advice I've gathered after the years;
1. You shouldn't apply to high-performing schools if you can't perform at that level. If you have a tutor or know someone who has gone through the exams and succeeded, I suggest you talk to them about which level you are performing at, and what school is more suitable and likely to accept you.
2. The exam questions are very different to normal questions in school exams. They use more thinking I guess, so be prepared for those types of questions.
The attached file is the HAST sample test I bought, while I had gotten most of the questions right on this, the exam was of a different calibre and was not suitable for me at all. Heck, I got better in English than in Math, and I suck at English and get A grades in Math.
Nevertheless, You've got A's and B's across everything and distinctions in the ICAS's I think you'll do fine.

Yes, I understand I think I can handle the work pressure when it comes to a high performing selective school, thanks for attaching the HAST sample questions. What did you try out for in year 8?

the person i know went to like a rank 250+ school w no extra curriculars just 7A's 1B
Oh really, well that person's reports seem to be better then mine, I have majority As and 2 or 3 Bs, but I'm not sure if Hahs cares about extra curriculars that much. On the bright side, my school is the 2nd best in the area after Hurlstone so I think they would be more inclined to accept me
