Hey guys,

So for sem 1 I started out with the 4 core subjects so now I have picked up 4 flexicores for next semester which are:
acct1511
fins1613
infs1602
tabl1710

However I want to delay fins1613 until next year 1st sem, so I was thinking of picking up another subject. Would I bet able to pick up econ1102 and go with 5 flexicores while still double majoring in acct/fins or are there any other 2nd year subjects I can do? (btw I need to do the 4 above since they are required for a CA)

Why would you do 5 flexicores(?) Perhaps you can do FINS1612 instead?

Yeah, pick FINS1612. It's a lot easier than FINS1613. I heard it doesn't really matter which semester you take FINS1612 in (unlike that of FINS1613) because iirc the difficulty is about the same.

Agree with the others. Pick FINS1612. Or do whatever. Just definitely avoid FINS1613 until semester 1! ;)

FINS1612 is much easier but you might need 1613 for some other subjects as a prereq. Best to check and 'map out' your degree if you can taking into account subjects which are either prereqs or can be studied concurrently.
