Just for fun......What mark do you think you will get in English Extension 2 as your HSC mark?

This is a great poll braindeadAsh ;)
I voted for 41-45

But we'll see how we go,

Here's to hoping for a Band E4 :p

(Have you guys seen the marking criteria? 41-50 ... that's achievable... I think! :D)

my expected achievement is inversely proportional to the amount of crap i write...as i'm only 1/3 finished my critical response, i expect it to take a nosedive sometime soon:)

i'm thinking 40/41... but we'll see!

in December we'll all have to come back to this thread, and post our actual marks, and see how close we were!

I'm going to have to change my vote :p
I'm realising how crap my major work is now that I've read these comments.

I'm changing it to a 30-36 range.
(Looked at the outcomes/marking criteria a second ago :))

But Snakeoils is right, we'll have to come back to this thread and see how confident we were, or how disillusioned we were :)

Either way, it'll be good to see if we're "all that" or not, (and I am not  )

I reckon for me, about 40-ish hopefully. Maybe a bit below that, hopefully a bit above that! :)

I just voted for 30-35. Of course I'm hoping it won't come down to that, but then again, I don't want to be too optimistic too soon. And yeah, I'll post my mark in December as long as its over 30's :)

Im gunna do shit but I'll be glad just to finish it. Its a good idea I got but I just don't have any time to make it a good piece of writing. Meh, concentrating on my 2-unit subbies

Hahahahaha. Me too.
Or something along the lines of,

"What's important is that she tried her best."

Realistically though, somewhere in the thirties. My major work is due next week and it's looking pretty wordless thus far.

My prediction for spinsugar, on the other hand, lies between 48 - 50.
