Whats Better for voice recordsing .wav or .mp3 (1 Viewer)

i am recording some voices for an animation and just wondering what is better to have my voice saved as wav or mp3

whats less file size for the same quality.

ps quality can be low

yeh sweet, i converted it to mp3 and much less file size. i got the nero wav program so its ok i use that to convert.

whats the point of wav anyway ? is it just some outdated file of audio format

WAV is uncompressed, full quality sound.

This is my IPT multimedia topic talking here but there is no noticeable difference between Mp3 and wav really. All mp3 compression does is take out the superfluous parts of an audio file. The human ear can't here these things anyway so basically you wont hear the difference if you save it as MP3 and it will cost u considerably less in storage space. :)
