whats a good major or course to do in uni?

i like all sports... but mainly cricket soccer and basketball...

and also i like maths and physics and chemistry...

is there any course which has all these things..

or any good careers..

You might want to look into the Bachelor of Cricket Soccer Physics Maths at CSU.


Do a science degree. Plenty of time to choose what you want to specialise in, comparatively few contact hours so plenty of time to play sport.

do a health science degree at usyd, or physiotherapy somewhere. i believe there's a sports science major at unsw too.

25 hours last term, 20 hours this term. It's not exactly a lot of free time, especially if you've gotta travel.

science degree and lots of time to do sports doesnt really go together unless you live nearby and you can do sports at night.

do u need to do that exam in year 12 to do those degrees.. i forgot whats it called... but if u wanna go into medicine u need to do some external exam.. is it the same..

and do u need to have biology for these courses?

If you want to have some more flexibility in your subject choices for first year, you might want to consider doing biology (if you're doing a bio related course). If you've done year 12 bio, you don't need to do second session bio at uni. It's a nice perk I suppose. On the other hand, if you don't do second session bio you don't get to listen to Mike Archer speak, which is a something I wouldn't want to miss out on personally.
