what's my gpa worth? (1 Viewer)

some people tell me that it's worth next to nothing... and others tell me it will affect my area placement, job opportunity (well i guess it will but there are vacancies in teaching). can anyone specifically tell me what a good gpa gets me, especially in relation to DoE? cheers

i thought gpa is only relevant in transfers?
for jobs and graduate positions dont they look at your wam?

Thanks Without Wings, I read the question and was planning to link to that thread...

At this stage however, searching for and linking to threads is really not within my mental capacity... I have just gotten power back after 3days without it... my main concern at this stage is writing the essay that is due on friday that I have been unable to write at this stage becuase I have been busy bailing flood waters out of my house!!!

I hope I get a teaching placement well away from flood prone areas at the end of this year!
