i'm doing a bunch of trial papers for hsc prep but what i'm also doing is doing one hsc paper a week in the leadup to the actual hsc exams so by the time i get to the date of the hsc exam for that one subject i've done all the papers for it
it works if most/all your subjects have been updated for the new syllabus (english, maths, sciences, history) since that means you have 3-4 papers to do, so in the month leading up to your exam do one a week, then supplement that with a bunch of trial papers
