OP I will give you a history lesson.

For thousands of years, humans have adapted. They have adapted to the environment and other humans to allow us to live a healthy and successful life. The many activities of our ancestors have allowed humans to communicate, fight, defend and work independently. For example: The slaves in Egypt would be killed if they didn't work had during the construction of the great pyramid. Hard work was then developed and written into our genetic code and passed down generations.

Today, humans still adapt. Your example of music is a classic one. The 1950's saw RockNRoll become a hit, 80's saw synthesisers and 90's saw electronic dance and rap. In 2009, Emo's have been emotionally, mentally and physically abused that they no longer dress like an emo, they dress like a normal person. The stereotypical emo you have described has now become you. You are an emo. The end.

Dude, go to Hungry Jack's in Queen St Mall up in Brisbane, and you will see so many emo kids, it's pretty much the entire population of South East Qld's.

My friends and I sit inside and throw ice at them, hoping they'll break and slit in front of us, hahaha.
