Syd has undergrad med as well, its just spastically competitive, ie a UAI hurdle of 99.95 is used for culling.

USYD's Combined Medicine Program isn't actually undergrad. The program currently offers MBBS in combination with B Arts, B Music Studies, B Medical Science or B Science (Advanced) (a proposal for B Economics is under way, last time I checked). Like most other provisional entry programs, students are guaranteed placement in the graduate MBBS degree after the completion of their BA, B Mus, B Med Sc or B Sc (Adv) degree.

Provisional basically means that you have to do a degree first of varying lengths (I think UQ makes it only 2 years instead of a typical 3 year degree). As long as you maintain a certain GPA (5.0 or credit in the case of UQ - I'm not sure about USyd as I've heard distinction from some sources but credit from others - perhaps ssglain can shed some light) then you will be guaranteed a spot in the mbbs program once it "actually starts".

it is undergrad... tat means ure first degree in that field.. its a grad-entry undergraduate program ..

its all semantics... but its not an MMed, MPhil(Med), MD or PhD (Med)..

I think that's only for BA or BMus though. I think BSc and BMedSci are still 99.95 (Although I could be wrong)
