I need help deciding between the white and black MacBook.

I like the black a lot more, but haven't saved enough just yet, and I have enough for the white. I've heard that the white could eventually turn some dirty looking yellow, from a couple of the threads in this forum, and I don't want that.

And what's the difference between a 'Double-layer SuperDrive' and a 'Combo Drive'?

if the black was glossy i'd say, go black.
but since it's not all you see is oily finger marks that smudge if you tryto wipe them clean (gloss is easier to clean, but gets dirty easier too).

Plus, ur female, so go with white.

This is the wrong forum first of all. It should be in the IT Central main forum. But, pfft, that doesn't matter. I'd go with the black, personally. But why is the black more expensive?

A "Double-layer SuperDrive" can burn dual-layer DVDs, while a "Combo Drive" both burns and plays single-layer DVDs. I think. I'm pretty sure. 90-95%.

A dirty looking yellow?
Wth do people do with them? It's like their MacBook suffers from passive smoking.

I'd go for the white one.. stands out more.. you see black machines everywhere..

Several of my friends own the white one.. I have never seen them change colour..
