cute cow, check out SAM. it assesses how u would go in the HSC with ur marks ur getting.

i dont know exact sorta marks so u should give it a try, its on the site, if u go to the main page im pretty sure their is a link across the top sayin SAM on it. click on that, enter ur subjects and expected mark, and see how u go!

use sam ... but eh, just a rough look at the 'minimum' mark u assume to achieve ...and the subjects ...i dont think u'll get 85. im sure you can do way better than those marks though. :)

Standard English - 83
General Mathematics - 86
Business Studies - 85
Legal Studies - 82
Modern History - 80
IPT - 68

= UAI 85.25 according to SAM.

You really need to get low-to-mid 80s in all of your subjects (excl. IPT), unless you repeat IPT and get mid-70s in it.

Working out marks is silly.
Here were the marks I expected in 04:
English Adv: 90
English Ext 1: 40
English Ext 2: 44
Biology: 60
PDHPE: 70
ANd i wanted a uai of 88.

However, the biggest differences were in biology, which i got 90 for and pdhpe, achieving 93.
Estimates are silly. There really is no way to predict ure uai.
And I have no idea why people cant face it.
Hell, people predicted my uai based on assessments from 80 - 98. Depending on who contributed.

1Time4thePpl is right - there is really no way of estimating UAIs and marks, as I said earlier. However, I guess there's no harm in setting some directions and having a goal/s to work towards.
