Will taking Maths Ext. 1 help in scaling uai? (1 Viewer)

Currently, in worst imagined situation.
english std.---averaging 45%
Maths 3U ----averaging 41%
Chemistry ----averaging 70%
Physics ----averaging 68%
Business Studies averaging 70%
Maths 4u ----averaging 25%

I m dropping 4u. But i dnt know whether to drop 3u. the only doubt i have in dropping 3u is scaling of uai. If i were to get 90% in 3u and 95% in 2u for hsc, but have below average 3u school marks, should i still keep 3u?

btw, i m in a partial-selective skool.

Personally, I find it quite stupid you have completed at least half of the course for extension 2, yet you are dropping it AND extension 1.

I think you should keep Extension 1, simply because with practice and the extra time you will get if you drop Extension 2, you should be able to improve your marks between now and then. But only drop Extension 2 if you are absolutely sure, you will have too hard a time if you change your mind again and want to be part of it after dropping.
