i have been having problems after i am converting avi's to dvd format.

i get a lag between audio and video.

- it is only happening for the first file (i am converting 2 files simultaneously)
- i have checked and the original avi's are fine.
- 2 files simulatenously have worked fine before.
- i have done it twice and it has still lagged.

are there any other programs that can perhaps duplicate winavi? OR how i can fix this using winavi?

perhaps a solution might be to do it 1 file at a time (the 2 files are actually 2 parts, ~700 mb each). but a problem would be how to match it up as i burn it onto a dvd? maybe join the 2 parts up into 1?

all help appreciated. thanks.

N/A
Point 1: It's probably due to VBR mp3 used in audio.
Point 2: AVI releases are usually meant for AVI and size constraints, so they'll muck around rather than simple cutting.
Point 3: The time and effort trying to fix it is better off trying to find a single AVI file of it, since WINAVI and one-touch encoders usually produce similar quality to each other (read as pretty shit compared to CCE/TMPG)

Your best bet is to try VSO DIVX2DVD or AVI2DVD
