windows media player? (1 Viewer)

umm when i click to go into it.. it makes the noise that u get with alert windows.. but nothing comes up.. and it doesnt open?
i can play songs with my kazaa but the windows media player just wont work.. anyone know whats wrong?
oh and on another note.. whenever i type a webpage incorrectly it comes up with lycos.. how do i get it back to normal? when i typed lycos into search and deleted things it kept saying something is in use.. when i wasnt using ie?

What alert window?

you could just use winamp, it is comparable to WMP9

dunno about ie. Mabye scan you computer with adaware

Go check the spyware removal sticky for how to change the Lycos thingy.
And you could try uninstalling and reinstalling WMP.
