WinFixer (1 Viewer)

hi, i just got told to download WinFixer because my computer apparently has errors on it, im not one to listen to pop-ups but this one looked legit. so i googled it and it doesnt really say whether it's a virus, adware etc etc. does anyone know if this is really necessary? i've been scared into thinking my computer will crash.

Google turns up mixed results, including the program and popups. Hmmm. I wouldn't install it. If your computer has errors, run scandisk/defrag/antivirus/antispyware

i jsut downloaded the trial.

looks pretty dodgy
but then i'm not sure if the registered version would be much better

umm ive got this same problem...the winfixer pop up is severely annoying...it cant be legit if it has come to my attention as a pop-up

To get rid of the popup that wants you to install WinFixer 2005, run msconfig, click on the startup tab, and then uncheck the following file.
