I've enrolled in a 3uoc winter gened so that in sem 2 i can put math1131 in its place (to overload by 3uoc, cos i failed it -__-) but on myunsw it seems to be counted as a sem 2 course cos it said maximum load exceeded when i try to put math in. so does this mean the winter gened is counted as a sem2 course? and will it mean i have to apply for a 6uoc overload for sem 2 when its only a 3uoc overload (but my wam isnt 65 T_T)??

srry for the long and confusing post and thx in advance

I think that count as overloading. You need to ask permission from the Head of School to overload 3 uoc in S2.

I'm not sure if this rule still applies, but you could only enrol in a Gen Ed once you've attempted 48UOC.

Yes. Winter Session is part of Semester 2.

From what I believe, Semester 2 refers to the second half of the academic year. Session 2 refers to the main block of study (14 weeks) while Winter Session, is a short 1 week learning time.

Thus Semester 2 = Session 2 + Winter Session.

Technicality, but yea my timetable on myUNSW is all funny, they overlay winter session onto session 2
