wmp problem (1 Viewer)

i have wmp 9.0.
when i listening to a song and close wmp, the music continues. if i reopen wmp, the location of the status bar is in the correct place. i'm pretty sure i've just chagned a setting.

oh and btw, to install wmp 10, do you need to uninstall wmp9?

Are you sure you're closing it ?

Or just minimising / hiding it. That is to say, is it in your taskbar/system tray? Is the process still running in task manager?

Also, no, to upgrade to 10 you do not have to uninstall 9.

no i am closing it....clicking the x on the top right hand.

it isnt minimised or in the system tray. i do see it in processes in the task manager.

meh...should i just upgrade to wmp10?

yes but the problem i had was that music was still playing whether i had closed wmp9 or not.

If you're going to upgrade, you may as well see if it'll fix the problem.

But if the entry's in task manager, isn't WMP still open?

Maybe it minimised to tray, and that option is on where inactive icons are hid?
