hello. i believe that through some uni career websites, or faulty websites, overseas firms often advertise there!! I am from UNSW, and i remember seeing a few firms offering Christmas period work for the Commerce faculty overseas. Or i think you can arrange some work overseas via STA travel. they have like Canadian ski instructor, English pub bar attendants... etc etc... they are some organisations that help to organise overseas work. there are so many different working holiday programs..some you have to be a full-time student and others you don't. it all depends on where you want to go and what you want to do. call up one of their advisors...they're really helpful and will sort you out !

I know you can go to Britain and work in a pub ( as you mentioned). Go to the Visit Britain website: http://www.visitbritain.com
