part a seems weird, do we need to know it?

part b, first think about the ways in which the UN has been ineffective is solving disputes between nation states- brainstorm examples on where the UN has failed to effectively step in to conflicts around the world e.g Rwanda- the UN was very slow to take action, as they took their time debating on what the definition of 'genocide' was. << deals with one of the factors that give rise to law reform: failure of existing international law>>
You basically in this part talk about how the UN has several imitations which hamper the effectiveness of it as an international remedy for world order issues, and then explain that because of these limitations we need law reform. New cocnepts of justice, such as the realisation of genocide as a crime against humanity, has required law reform and amendments to the UN policy, and thus genocide conventions now exist. You coudl also talk about veto power, and unanonymous voting...

For new technology...hmm thats a bit weird...i suppose you could talk about nuclear warfare, and how that has changed international law, and the UN's contribution to world order <-- it would probably need some mor eresearching

ok hope that helps alittle
