Writing an (AOS) Essay by continously comparing prescribed text with related text(s)
Hi, I'm a little confused as to how I would go about this. Just the structure of the essay I need help with.
does it go like this:
New Essay Structure Plan
Paragraph 1: Introduction (7 - 10 lines) - introduce the texts and authors + dates created
Paragraph 2: Prescribed Text # 1 (3 technqiues/quotes with links to the question)
Paragraph 3: Related Text # 1 (How many techqniues is required for this paragraph if i'm going to continuosly anaylyse it with the 3 other prescribed, could I do 1 technqiue/quote here?)
Paragraph 4: Prescribed Text # 2 (3 technqiues/quotes with links to the question)
Paragraph 5: Related Text # 1 (How many techqniues is required for this paragraph if i'm going to continuosly anaylyse it with the 3 other prescribed, could I do 1 technqiue/quote here?)
Paragraph 6: Prescribed Text # 3 (3 technqiues/quotes with links to the question)
Paragraph 5: Related Text # 1 (How many techqniues is required for this paragraph if i'm going to continuosly anaylyse it with the 3 other prescribed, could I do 1 technqiue/quote here?)
Paragraph 6: Conclusion
Now, if the question said to refer to AT LEAST ONE related text, that means it is recommended for two related text. How would I go about merging a 2nd related text? can i just replace some of my related text # 1 with related text # 2? (keeping this same structure mentioned above).
I'm trying to refine my Essay, because my current one need work and uses a basic structure, that is:
Old Essay Structure
P1: Introduction
P2: Prescribed 1 (includes 3 techqniues/quotes in one big paragraph)
P3: Prescribed 2 (includes 3 techqniues/quotes in one big paragraph)
P4: Prescribed 3 (includes 3 techqniues/quotes in one big paragraph)
P5: Related text (includes 3 techqniues/quotes in one big paragraph)
P6: Conclusion
I'm just not sure if I'm allowed to make three short paragraphs for my related to attach after each prescribed text, will it look better?
Thanks in advance.
