Given that this is the first xbox thread I clicked on, how much do Xbox360 Elite's retail for in Aus? Halp appreciated Stas. Also is the bundled cable for VGA/HDMI/DVI?

Elites are quite expensive - def. not worth it IMO. I think it comes with an HDMI cable, but you can get those quite cheap nowadays (don't pay for Monster cables as any decent HDMI cable will do exactly the same job: there's no difference in quality, as it's a digital signal).

Just go for a pro, as they now come with HDMI ports out.

Xbox 360s don't currently support a DVI connection.

both my hdmi ports are used up anyway (with an upscaling dvd player and hd stb) but i think the 360 upscales dvds to 720/1080?

yep, I think it does (can't remember if that's the HD-DVD addon only, or the regular drive with an HDMI cable).

You can get HDMI switchers for about $40, which will allow you to go between HDMI inputs.
