I got an interview for a position as a xmas casual.
just wondering do they expect you to be working everyday of the xmas period?
i might have a holiday coming up around that time, but not sure yet, and if it happens it'll be around 3 weeks...
Should I tell them this in the interview?
I was told never to say I'm on holiday for the next 6 months, work really hard (I only have 2 days of uni so I can go work for a number of days), and then say something unexpected came up and I have to travel (EG: grandma very sick, need to go back to country).
My family and friends all said if I tell them I'll be on holidays, it pretty much blows all the chance of me being hired.
Should I just say I can't go interview, and stop looking for a casual/part time job since it's getting close to the xmas season and all employers look for your availability around that time.
