i wana know if year 11 stuffs gona be in hsc.. things like maximisation, minimisation..absolute values. maths induction
i know that its the basics for the understanding of year 12s stuff.. but there are sum tricky maximisation questions or absolute values out there.
would there be specific questions targeting that?

there will definitely be Q's on prelim content in the HSC, stuff like parametric pareabola and circle geometry are commonly tested.

I'd suggest u have a look at some past HSC papers to see what sort of questions they ask

parametrics is in both yr 11 and yr 12 textbooks so of course, i'd expect that to be in hsc..

You can't really differentiate between year 11 and year 12 maths, since year 11 builds on year 12 maths, even the most basic year 12 maths could be year 11 maths. Would it matter if you study those topics though? If you are studying year 12 maths you are essentially studying maths you have learnt since you could learn how to do maths.

All those topics will be in the exams integrated with other topics

they can test u on everything in year 11 and 12. If u cover all the topics in the syllabus, you should be OK.
