ok, thanks a lot huy, thats around what i was expecting and should get me into a arts or science degree at newcastle uni (unless the cutoffs jump outrageously, esp. coz i get an extra 4 points for being local) so then i can transfer into my desired degree (occupational therapy) which has been my plan all along.

so im glad that ive had some confirmation that it is likely to be possible.

I would think mid 70's as well

i don't think it will increase that much the uai-cut off. You should make it to your course

i heard that rumour too, but i asked the careers teacher at my school and she said they were, and then she mentioned it again when i saw her today

Biz: 77
Chem: 64
Eng Adv: 76
IPT: 79
Gen Maths: 80

and mine were:

Biz: 82
Legal: 78
Eng Adv: 74
Gen Maths: 73
Economics: 74

can you tell me if my UAI will be something similar to hers (ie mid 70's) if these are my results, which seem in the same league as Jess'?

ok, im being independant and neutral here..
im thinking yours may be slightly lower just coz i have chem which is a good scaler (i could be wrong but i think legal is pretty poor isnt it) and my english and maths marks were a little bit better...but then you did better in business and i think eco and ipt have similar scalings and i did a little better in ipt than you in eco
omg, this is sounding totally harsh isnt it

ok, well say i get 75, i *think* you will prob get maybe 72 or so??
confirmation anyone?

oh btw, keep in mind that im only guessing, theres no scientific reasoning behind my prediction

alrighty, thanks a lot cyph, i know chem is gunna pull me down, but considering 6 months ago i was getting like a third of that, im pretty happy
and 72+ will still get me where i need to go to start my path into occupational therapy
