agreed agreed. write them, then just revise quickly afterwords to make sure it's stuck in your head

4 pages notes for each adv english essay, plus have an idea of how to adapt your main points into whatever they might throw at you

about 6 pages per topic in eco, a bit more for legal and physics
please explain to me the simple multiplier equation in economics
well not so much the equation but the concept

notes should be as long or as short as u need them to be... if it says 'define le chateliers principle' theres no need to write a whole page...

Ok that's a relief then.

I'm considering going through and writing a sentence or two for each dot point at the end for a final revision so it's all nice and summarised.

but thats just mine opinion... however ive seen some notes that are just a few sentenses and personally that wouldnt work for me... but if it works for the person who wrote them then all good...

My notes consist of an answer to each syllabus point - so they are pretty detailed, however I intend on relying mainly on my notes for stud.

Each module would be ~ 25-30 pages for my notes. I think that's a fair amount.

10,000 words, thats pretty much making your own textbook.

when it comes down to memorising stuff from your notes, how efficient would you be, having to read through it ?
Each to their own I guess.

Easy, just study the whole textbook. ;)

Warning: It's not as easy as it sounds.

the process of writing it consolidates your understanding so much more than the reading from it.
that obviously worked for you, probably have a good memory, that's coming from the assumption that you wrote your notes long before your assessment

He could have gotten accelerated by a tutor outside of school
yeh a tutor would work...

in essense it wouldnt be that hard really to do it all by urself... but its the little things that u miss without a teacher that might stuff u up ( not saying shantu1992 will stuff up or anything... my comments are not directed at him/her)

@Lyounamu: what is the DOTA 4U maths map??? curious

barely over 10000 word

I will need to "trim" them soon though.

It's all thanks to you dp!!! :p
almost 11000 words for bio, detailed>> 28 pages. Physics would be slightly less (around 25 pages :bomb:)

Just as long as you have all the info you need, and try not to go over 2 pages for one dotpoint.

DOTA 4U maths map is where you have these massive maths problems as your opponents. You have to solve one by one. At the end, you are faced with this extremely difficult Q8-HSC-level question (there is a time limit as well). I heard that sen lin, giles gardam, max menzies played that game before HSC.

I wrote up detailed notes (very), then read them over a few times over a couple of weeks, and broke them down again into smaller notes, then tried to remember the first notes off the second set. then i repeated again. it seemed to work pretty well :)

Let me just say if your doing 10,000 words just for maintaining a balance in Biology then that is WAY too extensive. I've done 5000 words for mine and i have covered everything on the syllabus notes and more... so i dunno what you're doing but it sounds like its alot more then you need.
