The things i love about macbooks are that they have around 5hrs battery, theyre thin and sleek, light weight and so easily portable.

What i DONT like, however, is the OSX interface, the single click mouse and those extra buttons, command and whatever.

Is there such thing as a laptop that has the extremely long lasting battery, sleek design, light weight and portability of a macbook, but has a microsoft interface?

Preferably with cpu of around 2.4ghz dual core and at least 2 gigs ram, i wont be gaming so integrated graphics will be fine.

Does such a laptop exist?

Don't buy a mac, you're too fucking stupid to understand the unix filesystem.
Because the majority of users give a fuck about that shit, stop trying so hard you dipshit.

really? i didnt know that!

so the right click still acts as the 'options' function?

and still theres the osx interface im not used to, i tend to be really fast at using my computer, meaning i want good processor and ram and easy to use and familiar interface.

my purpose of this thread was to find out if there was any laptops that are as sleek and battery massive as the mac, yet are not macs.

there is the dell adamo my friend on msn told me, but thats not released yet.

It will seriously take two days to get used to Leopard. Max. Maybe a week to find out its better features. Then you will wonder why you didn't switch earlier.

Why look for a Mac that looks like a Mac, acts like a Mac, but isn't a Mac when you could just have a Mac?

You can configure the mac touchpad to right click when you click in the bottom right corner. There are no 'extra' buttons, there's still just the three modifier keys as on a PC (option, command, control vs ctrl, windows, alt).

File setup? Your apps are contained in one folder. Your documents are contained in another. What more is there to understand?

EDIT: Obligatory "whatever you do, don't buy HP" warning. They will send you a laptop that doesn't meet the advertised specs then fuck you around for six months (and counting) to attempt to get a refund.
