Heyyyy, im just wondering
what kinda machines
everybody out there is running ^___^
here are my specs
Processor - Q6600 ( only for over clocking capabilties) - overclocked to 4.0 baybeee
mother board - ASUS STRIKER II EXTREME
video card - two xfx 9600 GT 512 mb sli
RAM - 8 Gig DDR2 1066mhz hyperx corsair (it doesnt read all 8 gigs LOL)
Audio - soud blaster x-fi
Case - gigabyte aurora 570
PSU - Antec 750 Watts
Operating system - 32bit vista ultimate

mobo - dunno
video card - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 512mb
RAM - 4 gigs
audo - some altec lansing laptop speakers, but i got external Boston speakers (2.1)
case - standard laptop
psu - dunno
operating system - 32bit vista ultimate

i can run far cry 2 all on high but with shadows and vegetation on low, dx 9, 1024x600. looks fucking beautiful.

assassins creed looks beautiful too.


Kimochi, why the FUCK do you have 8 gigs of ram when you only have a 32 bit operating system? You do realise that 4.5gigs of ram is not being used and is just consuming excess power.

you fail.

Bloody love your Case. I was going to get that with my build but needed a couple weeks for ordering, so i was like stuff it.

Desktop:

Processor = Intel E8500
Motherboard = ....
Video card = 9800 GT
RAM = 4 Gig Kingston DD2-800
Case = NZXT
PSU = Greatwall 800W
OS: Windows XP

Laptop:

Asus M51vr

Same specs as Omie Jay, except for graphics card (Ati 3470)
(plus gay battery life)

it only reads 3.25.
what a waste of money.
should of gotten the 64 bit.

mm my specs are a bit old.
got it 2 years ago.

antec 900
4gb ddr 800 ram
asus dvd writer/reader
8800gts 320mb
q6600 g0 at stock.
thermaltake (or take) 550w modular psu
thermalright (or take) 120 e extreme cpu cooler
1.2tb hdd space.

i think after the HSC i'll get another 22" or 24" monitor,
so i can have one running net/server statisics, msn, etc
and the other for whatever im doing

for studying/photoshop yeh.
cod4 (gaming), your CPU and GPU seem a little weak, my feedback as a novice tech.

I'm considering this board. In regard to overclocking, does the board offer much?
G31 right? Will it matter if I go with g31 instead of p45 with an e5200? I will be overclockn a little to play games

thats fine for cod4 and mirrors edge.


my dream pc would be:
cpu: i7 3.2ghz
gfx: geforce gtx 295
ram: 8gigs
os: vista ultimate x64
hdd: 1TB

and like..at least 20" screen

Too much, wish I could. $650-$750 budget excl monitor.

380w, will this be enough supply for my budget setup?
