I am well aware of higher premiums for males. This decision by insurance companies is entirely valid in my opinion, as large quantities of data have been collected that indeed show young males are more likely to be involved in accidents. They are a business, after all. Also, the male's brain in regards to decision making has not fully developed at that age, the death rate is significantly higher in that age group compared to females and all other age groups for men.
